From December 6, 2019, to January 26, 2020, A49 Art Space in Kalamata hosts seven artists who present their work and invite the audience to discover what unites them.
Yorgis Vrachnos, Iris Rousaki, Odin Asteriou, Romanos Chroussoglou, Yannis Nasopoulos, Ilias Ourpasian, and Stella Syrigou — coming from different starting points — compose a homogeneous, in conscience and ethics, kaleidoscope, ranging across kindred and at times contradictory spectra of figurative and non-figurative creation in the endless field of the plastic arts.
This is an enthusiastic gathering of seven visual artists who, driven by the same poetic urgency, the same demand for aesthetic integrity, and the same sense of responsibility toward the discipline each one serves, jointly present representative samples of their work — for the first, and certainly not the last, time.
The exhibition is curated by Yorgis Vrachnos. It is accessible to the visually impaired: all texts and captions are printed in Braille.
